Temperature Sensors with 4-20 mA Output and Liquid-Tight Conduit Fittings

Features
  • 2-wire, loop-powered 4-20 mA analog output
   • Attachment probe, sensor, 2-wire 4-20 mA signal conditioner
     and conduit fitting in one
  • No user calibration: works right out of the box
  • Compatible with PLCs, meters, data acquisition, and hazard monitoring systems
  • Reverse-wiring protected
  • Integral 1/2 in flexible liquid-tight conduit fittings
  • Optimized for Class II area hazard monitor systems (e.g. grain, coal dust)
  • FM approved, Dust Ignition-proof. Class II and III, Div I (E, F, G); NEMA 4

TT420-LT temperature probes and fittings are optimized for shaft bearing (TT420Z-LT), belt rub-block (TT420S-LT) and other temperature measurement applications. All models have integral liquid/dust-tight conduit fittings allowing complete sensor and cable segregation and protection.

2 model families for temperature monitoring

  • TT420S-LT* -  3/8 - 16 threaded stud probe (e.g. belt-alignment rub block temperature)
  • TT420Z-LT* -  1/4  in stainless steel probe with 1/8 NPT adapter (e.g. zerk grease fitting for bearing temperature)

* Probe and cable length, straight and right-angle options are available. A lug-mount adapter is available for TT420S-LT.

Optional Magnet Mount Adapter for TT420S-LT

Magnet Mount For Temperature Sensor   • Accepts 3/8-16 UNC sensor thread (TT420S-LT only)
   • Used when permanent mounting is not practical or not possible
   • Solid brass for rapid temperature conduction

Temperature Sensors with 4-20 mA Output

Features
  • 2-wire, loop-powered 4-20 mA analog output
  • Attachment probe, sensor, and 2-wire
4-20 mA signal conditioner in one
  • No user calibration: works right out of the box
  • Compatible with PLCs, meters, and data acquisition systems
  • Reverse-wiring protected
  • UL listed, Intrinsically Safe (IS) Class I, Div I (C, D) and Class II, Div I (E, F, G)

TT420 temperature sensors are used to monitor temperature on a wide range of industrial machinery including liquid  tanks, piping, conveyors, bucket elevators, motors, gearboxes, pumps, turbines, fans, curing ovens, centrifuges, agitators, hammermills, and more.

3 Models for Industrial Temperature Monitoring

  • TT420F -  flat surface mount-  mounts onto any flat surface with a #10 machine screw (included)
  • TT420S -  1/4-28 threaded stud- screws into any 1/4-28  tap
  • TT420Z* -  1/4 in stainless steel probe -  often used with compression fitting mount (tanks, piping, bearing zerk grease fittings)

RUB BLOCK DOOR ASSEMBLIES

Rub Block Door Assemblies

Rub Block Door Assemblies

Features

  • Hinged door allows easy installation and access
  • Straightforward installation new or retrofit
  • Facilitates regular proactive maintenance inspections
  • Provides early warning of conveyor or elevator belt misalignment
  • Protects employee safety, plant machinery and prevents unscheduled downtime
  • Three unique door assembly models available

Standard Hinged Door Assembly
Allows for quick and easy inspection of belts and replacement of worn rub blocks, saves time, and promotes regular maintenance inspections. Standard rub block door assemblies can be installed on new equipment or as a retrofit upgrade.

Adjustable Rub Block Door Assembly
Designed for enclosed conveyors or equipment with frames that interfere with optimum sensor mounting. This mounting assembly is a hinged door with slots for attaching the rub block and sensor. After installing the door and sensor, the rub block can be slid approximately one inch into its sensing position - Allows the rub block to be moved into the corner or bottom of a frame so that belt misalignment can be quickly detected in previously difficult to reach locations.

Uni-Strut Mounting Bracket Door Assembly
Designed to have the rub block mounted on one side of the bracket facing the belt and Unistrut can be directly connected to the other side. Allows easy vertical and horizontal adjustment of the rub block placement for proper belt misalignment monitoring No need for expensive and time consuming custom mounting brackets.

Conveyor Belt Misalignment System

Features

  • Simple Installation - drill (3) 13/32" diameter holes and mount on conveyor
  • 3/4" NPT conduit opening
  • Roller arm can move up to 90 degrees in either direction and is spring loaded for automatic reset
  • Optional manual reset available
  • Operating temperature range: -40° F to 150° F

The BA100-1 and BA100-1X each have (1) limit switch and the  BA100-2 and BA100-2X each have (2) limit switches. These conveyor belt alignment switches protect conveyor belts from damage due to belt misalignment or runoff. The controls are used in pairs with one switch placed on each side of the conveyor belt. Each control consists of a red epoxy coated roller that  has a 1-1/4" diameter with nylon bushings that is adjustable up to 90 degrees in both directions. The switch actuation points are adjustable from 0 degrees to 45 degrees by a simple change of the actuating cam(s). The BA100-1 and the BA-100-2 is furnished with a heavy-duty cast aluminum housing. The BA100-1X and the BA100-2X is furnished with a heavy-duty cast aluminum explosion proof housing. Cast iron and epoxy-coated housings are also available.

Models

BA100-1: One SPDT limit switch rated for 20 A at 120 VAC, 240 VAC, or 480 VAC
BA100-2: Two SPDT limit switches rated for 20 A at 120 VAC, 240 VAC, or 480 VAC
BA100-1X: Explosion proof with one SPDT limit switch rated for 20 A at 120 VAC, 240 VAC, or 480 VAC
